Training

Training takes place every Tuesday at the club. We aim to start at 7pm so most players try to arrive at 6:45pm for a 7pm start. If, for some reason, you can't make it, or you need a lift, then give someone a call. We normally finish at about 8:30pm and then head up to the bar for a quick pint and a bite to eat.

What to bring?

  • Rugby Jersey. If you haven't got one then a T-shirt or sweater will do.
  • Shorts. If you're a lineout jumper then you'll need proper rugby shorts.
  • Socks. We have spares you can borrow, or you can buy a pair of club socks.
  • Rugby boots (Trainers in the summer). If you haven't got any then we have lots of spares that you can borrow.
  • Gum Shield. You can buy one at the club for £5.
  • Towel.
  • Money for a pint after training.
