A battling performance in tricky conditions saw Cotham Park run out eventual winners over an improved Westbury-on-Severn side. With the rain subsiding moments before kick off this did little to improve the quality of the pitch/meadow. Having initially gone behind to a Westbury penalty, Cotham finally got their reward for the relentless pressure when winger Tom Hicks crossed in the corner following a flowing backs move. The game was strewn with errors as the wet ball combined with some questionable decisions to hamper Cotham's progress. Eventually the game was finally put to bed when a long, looping miss-pass was snatched out of the air by the winger Hicks who crossed for his second. Two conversions from Ricky Jones saw the score at the final whistle read Westbury-on-Severn 3 Cotham Park 14.

This win put Cotham 2 points ahead of next weeks opponents St Brendans as the race for second place and promotion reaches boiling point.
