Cotham Park RFC The closest Rugby club to Clifton in Bristol

A strange Presidents XV boasting a mixture of 1st XV, 2nd XV, vets, and comedy players took on a strong but aging Clifton Rats at Fortress failand. In miserable conditions, Cotham decided to make a game of it by giving the opposition a 3 try head start in the first half.

With the wind (and the rain) behind them in the second half, the tables turned, and Cotham made a come back with 3 tries of their own. Unfortunately for them a wayward pass gave the visitors an easy interception try and the lead. Experience told in the end and they managed to kill the last few minutes of the game.
